Sasha first announced as transgender in high school. Her family was there for her through the tough times, and Sasha knew that he was capable of anything with music. Jim and Sasha each have a songwriter. The two have been playing at local venues, open mics, and elsewhere. While The Voice coaches did not talk about Sasha's background, the duo as well as Jim shared their life journey through a short introduction clip that was played prior to their performance. Jim and Sasha discussed their music choices as well as how Sasha first picked up a guitar at the age of six years old. It was easier for Sasha to pick up guitar since his dad is music enthusiast. Sasha was a victim of identity problems when he was a kid, although he was a female. In an Instagram post he recently opened up about the struggles he faced. In the meantime, Jim overcame with emotion when he clarified why he couldn't be a one of those struggling moments. Sasha Allen is a contestant on The Voice. She was born as a girl. Sasha Allen, The Voice contestant, will turn 19 in 2021. Sasha Allen made the transition into masculinity while at the beginning of his time in high school. Sasha stated on Instagram, "I am the third transgender person ever to make it on the show and I'm delighted to represent transgender people on such a large platform."
