Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is an acclaimed American actor. Kellie Martin has appeared in a variety of TV and film shows, such as "Christy" which is a comedy about a teenage girl known as Christy Huddleston. Kellie Martin is most famous for her role as the protagonist of her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin's acting career started at the age of 7 when an aunt, an ex-nanny who looked after her children Michael Landon, helped secure the role of a actor in the film of the same name, 'Father Murphy.' When she completed her studies at Yale University in 1982, Martin began to take her acting profession more serious. She landed significant roles on television as well as on the big screen. Martin, in addition to being a skilled actress and dancer, is also an accomplished ballet photographer. Her sister, who died of Lupus at the age of 19, was the inspiration behind her becoming the Lupus national spokesperson.
